Laura Green London is referred to in these Terms as “LGL”. 2. Your details
When placing your order you will provide us with a telephone number and email address that we can best reach you on. We will use these contact details to notify you of the progress of the order. We abide by GDPR laws.
3. Use of the Website
By accessing this Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them you may not use this Website and should leave it immediately.
www.lauragreenlondon.com is an online service of LGL provided solely for your personal use for the sale of Items.
We have taken great care to ensure that the Items on our Website are presented as accurately as possible. However, colour clarity will depend upon your own personal monitor and we therefore cannot guarantee that the colour of the actual Item is absolutely accurate. Before placing an order please read through these Terms.
To be eligible to purchase Items on this Website you must:
· Be the holder of a valid debit/credit card
· Warrant that the personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects
If your personal information changes then please notify us immediately by contacting us on the following email info@lauragreenlondon.com. You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use. By using this site you agree to comply with, and be bound by, these Terms.
We may from time to time change these Terms at our sole discretion. By using this Website after any such change(s), you agree to comply with, and be bound by, the Terms as changed.
4. Orders
a. Online ordering
By accessing this Website you agree to these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to them you may not use this Website and should leave it immediately.
www.lauragreenlondon.com is an online service of LGL provided solely for your personal use for the sale of Items.
Once you have checked out and you have received your order confirmation email you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before confirming your order.
We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:
· The product ordered being unavailable
· Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
· The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion
· If we suspect any fraudulent activity
If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure. Goods are subject to availability.
Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
b. Products
i. Ready to wear
The set design is usually a design on our Website or in our collections.
You can purchase anything in our online boutique as easy as clicking ‘Order’. We operate sustainably and do not make in mass, thus only creating one piece of each item in our collections. These Items can be purchased, and we can deliver these within 2-4 working days. Anything available in the boutique can be returned and fully refunded.
Existing goods such as ready to wear garments are offered for sale on the basis that you have examined them sufficiently to ensure that they are fit for the purpose for which they are to be used.
ii. Pre-order
If you require a piece in a different size to what is available, we call this pre Order. We can help you with this order before your purchase. please just email info@lauragreenlondon.com or call the atelier on 0208 395 8498
Our sizing chart is only a guide and small adjustments can be made to suit your requirements. We will discuss this with you and ensure you are happy before the garment is made.
This process can take around 14-28 days depending on the complexity of the garment. This service can take longer. If you need it for a particular date or occasion, please do let us know as soon as you order so we can ensure plenty of time is allowed should you need to make further adjustments. This service is not exchangeable or refundable.
This is a bespoke garment service in which we manufacture goods to your order and specifications. Therefore refunds and returns are not possible unless there is a manufacturing fault in your order. We encourage you to take care with the specifications of your order.
Once patterns are cut to your noted measurements, dimensional changes to the order may not be possible without extra work and therefore an extra charge. Changes can also mean a delay in completing the order.
iii. Bespoke (couture)
We make two seasonal collections a year, these pieces are showcased in our exclusive London showroom. They can be ordered by booking a consultation service either in your home or a private viewing in our showroom where we can discuss with you the process of having something made to fit you.
Please note that because of the custom-made nature of our garments the final product may differ from the sample in the collection.
When you try on and collect the garment that means that you are satisfied with the fit and finish.
If you are unable to visit us or do not live in London, we operate an overseas bespoke service. Our clients order a particular design from our collections and we make to agreed measurements.
In our experience, it works best if you have an experienced seamstress or tailor to help carry out any additional alterations locally to you. If you are interested in this service please email info@lauragreenlondon.com where our atelier can help you every step of the way.
Once patterns are cut to your noted measurements, dimensional changes to the order may not be possible without extra work and therefore an extra charge. Changes can also mean a delay in completing the order.
Please be prepared for at least four fittings; however, there may be more depending on the complexity of the design and the fit. If you wish we will try to give an estimate of the number of fittings required at the start of the order, we cannot guarantee the exact number of fittings.
Please let us know if you are intending to lose or gain weight, or to wear a different shoe heel height, or undergarments that alter the figure. Any such information must be provided by you at the first fitting.
A 50% deposit is required with bespoke orders. By paying the deposit you give consent to us to place orders for the selected fabrics, and to start work at our studio.
The balance outstanding on your order is to be paid before collection or delivery.

c. Fabric samples
If we give you a sample of fabric or an illustration, please only use them for general guidance unless stated that this is an actual piece from your cloth that has been ordered.
5. Order completion
a. Time
We cannot guarantee that the order will be completed by a certain date. If your order is for an occasion that cannot be postponed we strongly recommend that enough time is given to allow for alternative garments to be obtained in case of cancellation.
We will not be responsible for delays resulting from situations within your control, such as missed or delayed appointments.
b. Adjustments
You may wish us to perform minor subjective adjustments to the garments such as for comfort. We shall do our best to complete such adjustments, but we may ask for additional charges. For the avoidance of doubt, just because the garment requires or would benefit from subjective adjustments it does not mean that it is not of satisfactory quality. Such adjustments are not repairs to the garment.
6. Delivery
Please refer to our Shipping and Returns page for information on delivery charges. We will not be responsible for paying any customs and importation fees. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any delays by the delivery service provider.
7. Cancellation / refunds
If you decide to cancel the order once we have started work on your order, and/or once we have ordered fabrics, then the deposit you have paid will not be refunded. This is because once an order has been placed costs are immediately incurred by us.
Should you cancel the order between the time work has started on your order, and/or the fabrics are ordered by us, but before the goods are complete (for example, after initial fittings) then we reserve the right to collect from you a proportion of the balance representing the work completed by us.
If the goods are complete or nearly complete then, in addition to the deposit, we will look for you for the whole balance due. If we decide to cancel the order, for example because of supply difficulties, then any deposit paid will be refunded to you in full. No other claim will be accepted other than those guaranteed by your statutory rights.
